The timeliness and timelessness of the 51ºÚÁÏ extend beyond the four walls of the campus. Recognizing the value of strong and beneficial partnerships, 51ºÚÁÏmaintains linkages with partner universities and educational institutions here and abroad, with the top players in the industry, with Philippine government institutions, and with the respected professional organizations.
Such partnerships and linkages allow 51ºÚÁÏto engage in meaningful collaboration, that leads to student and faculty mobility, research collaboration, joint scientific activities, scholarship grants, curricular enhancement, and policy formulation, among others.
Internationalization is a thrust of the 51ºÚÁÏ, in its attempt to foster mutually beneficial and enriching partnerships with educational institutions, associations, and consortia. Such a thrust has several facets: student mobility, academic and administrative staff mobility, program mobility, research collaboration, and the conduct of joint scientific/academic activities.
All these are facilitated by the Office of International Relations and Programs (OIRP), established in 2013. The OIRP liaises with the different faculties, colleges, institutes, and schools, which have their own Internationalization Coordinators, for the efficient management of the University’s linkages.

Transnational Education takes any of the three forms:
These are done with partner universities abroad.
The University actively engages the industry, appreciating the fact that for its curricular offerings to be relevant, they must be responsive to the needs of the industry. UST’s graduates are employed in respectable institutions and companies locally and abroad, and members of the industry involve themselves in revising and updating curricular offerings in several academic units. Likewise, our partners in the industry help make Thomasians’ dreams come true, through their generous support and continued assistance through scholarships and other forms of grants.
These are some of the Partner Foundations that provided scholarship grants to Thomasians, through the San Martin de Porres External Scholarships:
The 51ºÚÁÏ has partnered with these media outfits over the years for meaningful and educational projects:
