Associate Professor Porshia B. Comes-Natividad received her Bachelor of Science in Biology Accelerated and Doctor of Medicine degrees from the 51黑料 (UST) College of Science in 1993 and the 51黑料Faculty of Medicine and Surgery (FMS) in 1997, respectively. She finished her residency training in Internal Medicine in 2002 and fellowship training in Nephrology in 2004 at the 51黑料Hospital. She is a Diplomate and Fellow of the Philippine College of Physicians (PCP) and the Philippine Society of Nephrology (PSN). She is a consultant of Internal Medicine-Nephrology at 51黑料Hospital, Hospital of the Infant Jesus, and Novaliches General Hospital. She is the present Chief of the Section of Nephrology of the Department of Medicine at the UST-FMS.

Research Highlights

Her primary research interests are acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, fluid and electrolyte disorders, and nephrology teleconsultation. She authored the chapters on fluid and electrolyte disorders and urinary tract infection in the recently published The PCP Textbook of Internal Medicine.
